Jack Jameson is a Manchester-based interdisciplinary artist whose practice traverses the thresholds of queerness, identity, and speculative storytelling. Working across digital and analogue media—including photography, film, animation, 3D modelling, styling, and prop-making—they construct otherworldly realms where shapeshifting characters and satirical visions of queer experience unfold, inviting viewers into spaces both uncanny and intimate.

Drawing from futurism, dreamscapes, philosophy, fashion, music, and queer subcultures, Jack’s work reimagines systems of belief, kinship, and transformation. Themes of technology, faith, and community pulse through their practice, where critique and celebration intertwine. Making is an act of world-building—balancing conceptual thought, playful experimentation, and craft to create experiences that are reflective, sensorial, and socially resonant.

Jack graduated with a First-Class BA (Hons) in Media and Performance from the University of Salford, where their documentary Divine/Define Drag was exhibited at Bury Art Museum. They later joined the Castlefield Gallery and University of Salford Graduate Scholarship Programme, which marked a pivotal transition into contemporary art practice.

This year, Jack took part in the Adidas Originals Creator Network North with Factory International and is currently developing a new visual-audio practice through Arts Council England’s Developing Your Creative Practice grant (2025–2026). Alongside their art practice, Jack works as an art director and coordinator across events, film, and immersive environments.
